Tables now break in different ways depending on how much power is used on them. Ladders can now be broken in half inside and outside the ring by putting them on the ring ropes. The Hell in a Cell match has been changed with larger cell walls, weapons under the ring, metal steps near the corners, and the removal of the cell door.
Also, the game adds new ways to leave the steel cage. The new “WWE Universe” mode takes over the older games’ career mode. Based on the played matches, the mode makes new stories and adds video scenes and fights between wrestlers. Before, during, and after the game, these videos show up at random. Along with that comes a new plot where players can pick from Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, or a made wrestler to try to end The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania run.
