This new style mostly replaces the old key-finding and block-moving challenges. Fighting enemies works in a similar way to the first game, but now the player must turn on aiming by themselves. Some big fights with bosses are now placed in separate parts instead of being part of the normal game path, like in the original. These boss battles can include puzzle elements and often require using Lara’s new “adrenaline dodge” move, which slows down time when the enemy runs at her in a rage. Some parts of the game need the player to react quickly in real time.
