After many dangerous journeys, the Prince comes back to Babylon, with his new wife, Kaileena, the Empress of Time. Their hopes of a quiet and happy life together are ruined when they reach Persia and see the land wrecked by war. The bad Vizier quickly catches and kills Kaileena, and her death frees the Sands of Time, from which the Vizier gets scary new powers. The Prince of Persia must fight again, but this time he will be tougher than ever, because of his new other side, the Dark Prince, made due to the Prince’s touch with the Sands. As he works to save his land from a crazy man, he must also fight his own dark thoughts as the Dark Prince tries to take him over fully.
The Prince and his new bride dreams of a safe and happy life together are shattered when they come to Persia and find the place ruined by war. The cruel Vizier soon grabs and kills Kaileena, and her death lets out the Sands of Time, from which the Vizier gets fearful new powers. The Prince of Persia must battle once more, but this time he will be stronger than ever, because of his new second self, the Dark Prince, formed from the Prince’s touch with the Sands. As he fights to take back his home from a mad leader, he must also face his inner struggles as the Dark Prince tries to fully control him.
