The game takes place one month after the first game’s ending in Limassol and Kyrenia on the island of Cyprus. The Templars have moved in, and Altar has followed them to learn their plans and get rid of them all if he can. Armand Bouchart, chief of the Templars, is the main villain. He is searching for the apple of Eden, which lets him take over the minds of anyone he wants.
The gameplay is close to that of the original Assassin’s Creed. Altar can move freely through each city in the same jumping and climbing way based on being sneaky and quietly taking down targets. Players can also have Altar fight openly in the street and walk in through the front door. Altar’s weapons include punching hands (often not deadly), his famous sleeve blade, and a big sword. Bloodlines also includes PS3 USB link, letting you unlock six new weapons in Assassin’s Creed II when your PSP is connected to your PS3. These are also available in the PSP version. Also, any Templar coins found in Bloodlines are moved over to Assassin’s Creed II, and codex pages will boost your health.
The story begins one month after the ending of the first game and is set in the cities of Limassol and Kyrenia, both of which are found on the island of Cyprus. The Templars have gone there, and Altaar has chased them to find out their goals and take them out if the time comes. Armand Bouchart, the main boss of the Templars, is the key bad guy of the story. He is on a mission to find the apple of Eden, which lets him control the thinking of anybody he picks.
